On Monday, November 5, The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) offers a 1 p.m. free public lecture by the partners of Atelier Saley, Inc., Judith Sen and Soumana Saley.  The duo recently founded their Hummelstown company and will share their journey in the development of both creative product and business plan.  The presentation will be held at TCCH, 612 N. Front Street, Harrisburg.

On Monday, November 26, The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) is sponsoring a bus trip to Philadelphia to see the Barnes art collection in its new location on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.  Participants will have access to the museum 30-45 minutes prior to the public opening that day and see a DVD preview while enroute.

Respected local entrepreneur, workshop and seminar leader and presenter, Patricia L. Gadsden, will speak at The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2012.  The club is located at 612 N. Front Street and the lecture is free and open to the public. 

With a new website online.  A new logo.  A new slogan.  The Civic Club of Harrisburg,     the region’s oldest women’s service organization, seeks new members to continue the civic and social activities that preserve the heritage of the region.

The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) today launched a website with two urls, a new logo and byline. All were created by a team of club members and tech professionals over the past three months.

Harrisburg - The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) will host floral designer Jeff Winand, owner of Jeffrey’s Flowers & Home Accents in Mechanicsburg, as he speaks and does a presentation at its May 20 special events luncheon at the club, 612 N. Front Street, Harrisburg.  The event begins at noon. The public is invited to attend at the member’s price of $35 per person which covers the cost of the meal.

In its first public program in 2012, The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) will sponsor an event featuring local historians Larry and Annette Keener-Farley. They will present “The Role of Women during the Civil War.”  The one-hour seminar is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, at the club’s landmark building located at 612 N. Front Street in Harrisburg.

HARRISBURG- On Sunday, November 20, 2011 beginning at 1 p.m. The Civic Club of Harrisburg Affiliates will host “Manners Matter,” a 3-hour program on table manners, anti-bullying, appropriate use of social media, ballroom dancing and proper etiquette for 7-12 years olds. This program is just in time for the 2011 holiday season and will be held in the club’s ballroom at 612 N. Front Street, Harrisburg. 

On Monday, October 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) will sponsor a free public event featuring Frank M. Wedig, past District Governor, Lions Club International, who will present a program on "BrainPort." His presentation will explain a new technology in artificial vision used by blinded United States Service men and women. The one-hour seminar will be held at the club's landmark building located at 612 N. Front Street in Harrisburg.

In its first program for 2011-2012, The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH) will sponsor the a program by attorneys from the state Attorney General’s Office entitled “THE SENIOR CRIME PREVENTION UNIVERSITY.” The one-hour seminar is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, September 12 at the club’s landmark building located at 612 N. Front Street in Harrisburg. 

HARRISBURG - Citing their “community-wide appeal and civic service to the Harrisburg region,” Beth L. Cornell, president of The Civic Club of Harrisburg (TCCH), announced a yearlong slate of programs at the club located in the landmark Tudor-style building at State and Front Streets in Harrisburg. TCCH collaborates with its Affiliates membership in producing several events a year.
