The State of Mental Health: Race, Culture, & Identity

We recently held an insightful mental health forum that explored the important topic of accessing mental health services in our diverse communities. We had open and meaningful conversations about the unique challenges faced by traditionally disenfranchised communities, refugees, and new immigrants. These challenges include everything from personal barriers to the need for culturally competent caregivers and services.

Our forum dove deep into how Black and Brown communities are dealing with the nationwide mental health crisis, including cultural stigmas surrounding treatment. Together, we're working towards our goal of providing equity to our community by being a resource hub that breaks down barriers and promotes mental well-being for everyone.
