Community Services
Service is part of the purpose of The Civic Club of Harrisburg. Various service projects are managed annually by the membership. These projects embrace the purpose of The Civic Club of Harrisburg and are targeted to youth, seniors and those in need. Many projects are embraced by working with Non-Profit Partners as like-minded organizations.
Scholarship Awards
The Civic Club of Harrisburg partners with the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg to present cash awards to winners of the MLK Poetry & Storytelling Competition for High School Students. The 2024 event featured students from throughout the region who read from their works and interacted with two Poet Laureates and other acclaimed writers in our region.
